Holding the Door Open for You

Just a quick note on this very cold afternoon.  There are a lot of new visitors here recently, most coming through an email link, my MovieMaker Mag column, Polo Contacts Worldwide, my Facebook page, and other connections.  And many of them, as well as some of the OKC regulars, have been asking how they can get involved with this film.  Good news, bad news.  Which one first?  Ok, beans first, rum cake second.

The bad news is that I am loaded up with horse-whisperers, riders and horses themselves (and a few horses-asses, but so goes the world, yes?)  I have asked for lots of help, and much has been offered...but it is not of much use while we are in this phase of things.  I don't want to run you off, and hope you'll be a faithful reader here and a fan...but right now, I already have twice the horse wranglers we'll ever need.

The good news is that yes, you CAN (ala Obama) get involved through a rather small investment (starting at $5K) in BlueRun Productions, our company which is not only producing Of Kings & Cowboys, but also Russian Warmblood and Fast Women Beautiful Horses.  Not only does it come with a built-in 30.2% ROI, but you also have priority consideration in hiring and product placement, and access to the set, and invitations to all premieres, etc.  And horse-themed films have the most consistent profit record of any other film genre.  Not bad.  If this interests you, drop me an email to dmbluerun@gmail.com.

One more thing:  As I think I've mentioned somewhere here, my 'avocation' is photography, specifically photoart.  I have posted some new pics (such as this one here) on my Facebook page and on the BlueRun site:  Marlett PhotoArt.  May not be your thing, but I enjoy it....and maybe one of them might stir you.   Let me know what you like.

And finally, here is a good, recent Reuters article you may want to read:

Despite Slowdown, Polo is Big Business in Argentina
