Florida Sunshine -- Just in Time for Valentines

For those who don't know, this is the beginning of perhaps the best time of year for polo:  The Florida Season.  And on Valentine's Day no less.  Let the love affair resume!

Starting with the Outback 40 Goal Challenge today (Feb 14th), and ending with the US Open Polo Championship on April 26th, Wellington, Florida -- and specifically the beautiful International Polo Club (above) -- will host some of the best polo of the year.  For starters, I wish I was attending the 40 goal game today. (All eight players are 10 goalers...the highest possible rank.)  After that, over the next couple of months, comes the old Whitney Cup, then the Gold Cup, and finally the US Open.  If you're curious about polo, and can be there, you should definitely see the final of the Open on April 26th. One of the top three games in the world.  Click here for their schedule: http://www.internationalpoloclub.com/polo/polo_schedule.htm

The Of Kings & Cowboys script calls for the final fictional game to be played at a major US tournament, and presently I suspect it will be the US Open (cup left), or the America's Cup (see below entry).

This film will literally be the best marketing tool professional polo has ever had, anywhere.   Thus I am still fully expecting the USPA (US Polo Association) and specifically the International Polo Club to get fully on board.  Meanwhile, ride on, and see you in Florida (I wish!)
