Movie Ticket Sales Go Up as Economy Slows

ABC Nightly News did a great story tonight titled:

The key is that in every recession, including the depression, movie ticket sales jumped!  This is the one area where people actually spend more as the economy sours.  In fact ticket sales are so strong that they are predicting 2009 to be a banner year.  Not even medical stocks or the green industries can make such a boast.
