America's Polo Cup...Be There if You Can
Sunday, February 8, 2009 The primary person I went to DC this past weekend to meet was Tareq Salahi, traveling to see him due to his pledge to invest heavily in BlueRun. Tareq is the head of the America's Polo Cup, www.americaspolocup.com, which I've been told is the oldest international polo invitational in the world. (You'll see in subsequent entries here if the pledge holds up.)
Click on the America's Polo Cup banner above and you'll see all the details, buy tickets, etc. It is coming up on the weekend of May 8, 2009 in Washington D.C. Their website gives all the info, so I won't repeat it here. But check it out. I hope that this Cup continues to grow. Some would say it is America's equivalent to the Cartier International in England, drawing tens of thousands of spectators. (Others would give that to the US Open.) The game will be covered by the CW Network, and includes military fly-overs, a fashion show, etc. Or at least that is what is planned.
Ride on.
