The Tumultuous yet Rewarding Voyage

Sorry for the week+ delay since the last entry.  I've been busy fighting the waves and steering the vessel, and unsure just how much you wanted to hear about it.  (Don't want any of you land-lubbers puking over the rails!)  Some of our readers, investors, enthusiasts have told me not to write stuff unless it is positive, but I dunno. Seems the point of this blog is to be honest about the ups and downs of mounting an indie film of this calibre.  Right?

We set sail last spring on the intrepid HMS Of Kings & Cowboys, on what should have been a rather predictable journey (albeit with a ton of hard work) lasting six to nine months, and culminating in production of the film to commence this coming summer.  But then, mid-course, a thousand miles at sea, this economic tsunami hit us.  Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not whining nor worried...we've got a great ship.  And this storm has hit every other ship at sea and in port.  Every indie film I know of is behind schedule now, as we are.  But that is, nevertheless, where we are: a bit blown off course and a few months behind.  But hey, no one went overboard...that's something, right?

What we need now are some new injections of smallish investments in BlueRun Productions.  The good news is that we are a relatively safe bet (hellavalot better than Wall Street!) with a very healthy rate of return (30.2%+), and a good tax shelter available.  And on top of that, we offer a fantastic finder's fee for any investor you bring our way.  And perhaps most important, we are very unique in that we are in perhaps the safest of film genres:  horse-themed films....which have always made a profit (an amazing statistic of which we are uniquely taking advantage).

So, we press on.  While Of Kings & Cowboys is somewhat simmering on the back burner while I try to get our lead actors attached, I am heavily involved in Russian Warmblood (click icon in upper right column of this page), and looking into the BlueRun goodie-bag of films and miniseries in development for what else we should be focused on currently.  No rest for the weary.  All hands on deck!  This storm will pass and we will emerge stronger and back on course.

Join us, won't you?  Email me today and let's talk about a small investment and the huge returns to you both financially and personally.  Ride on.
